This beautifully hand-carved Black Forest Cuckoo Clock Chalet Style has a one-day movement and plays music after the wooden cuckoo calls every half and full hour. It has two great tunes that will play alternatingly: “Edelweiss” and “Der Fröhliche Wanderer” (The Cheerful Wanderer). There is a manual night shutoff to silence the cuckoo during the night. As all our clocks from HEKAS, all features are hand-carved and hand-painted, of course. Measuring merely 7,9 x 10,6 x 12,6 inches (20 x 27 x 32 cm), this is one of our best medium-sized cuckoo clocks.

This Black Forest Cuckoo Clock Chalet Style depicts a lavishly decorated Alpine scene. Up on the balcony of the farmhouse, you see a group of dancers in traditional costumes who start dancing every time the music plays. The mill wheel in front of the house turns during the music while the farm worker lifts his axe to chop the firewood.
