It has two great tunes that will play alternatingly: “Edelweiss” and “Der Fröhliche Wanderer” (The Cheerful Wanderer). There is a manual night shutoff to silence the cuckoo during the night. All features are hand-carved and hand-painted, of course. Measuring merely 7,9 x 12,6 x 13,8 inches (20 x 32 x 35 cm), this is one of our best medium-sized cuckoo clocks.

This Black Forest cuckoo clock depicts a beautifully detailed Alpine scene. Up on the balcony of the farmhouse, you see couples dressed in their colorful traditional costumes who start dancing every time the music plays. The mill wheel in front of the house turns during the music while the farm worker chops the firewood with his little dog watching him.
